My Halfway Point
I feel the confines of time
As they sandwich me.
In the middle.
Between an existance where I only knew pain
And a blank canvas with an untold frightening future
Both of them stare me down,
Each of them demanding of me,
Begging of me,
Imploring me,
To tell them how I will change
From them.
