My Hands

They reach for the sky every time I open my eyes

They hold everything dear to my heart very clear

They are strong yet gentle

They are big yet little

Without them I don’t know what I would do

Without them I would be unable to hold you

They convey my feelings

They are my way of healing

They are the hope we dare

They are the bonds we share

They are the things we need

They are the hands we see

These hands belong to me

My hands will never let go
