My art is my happiness

Me drawing is my journey to life

My art brings me joy like cheesy homemade mac and cheese

Art is an amazing activity I absolutely adore

Art has been there for me for the longest I can remember

It’s something that made me feel safe

The depression went away

The depression I had was as deep as the bottom of the ocean

The more progress I made

I started to post on Facebook

I felt scared and nervous like a little mouse getting trapped in a corner from a snake trying to catch it’s prey

I have never done that before I didn’t know what others would say

I didn’t know how to feel about it,

it was my first time

But I shouldn’t have been scared or nervous

Everyone loved it for whatever the art piece was

That made me feel warm inside like hot tea rushing through my veins

Drawing cartoons is something that makes me happy like putting on sweat clothes when you get home on a hard day

The art I do is fun

it’s creative it brings me joy in my life

The feeling of the art pencil, sharpies, pastels, or colored pencils makes me happy

I can draw and feel accomplished.

The sight of my biggest art piece I have ever done

Having different colors of pastels all over my hands

Looking at my piece and feeling so accomplished on what I did

Something I have never done before and finished

Something I am good at

a hobby I love to do

And I made it bigger and it’s something I am proud of.

Me drawing is like a kid playing on the baseball field

This drawing skill thing I have is unique

It’s something I have been working on for a very long time
