To My Hardest Goodbye-My Dad

To My Hardest Goodbye- My Dad,

Robert J Lipsitz, the best father, husband, uncle, and friend anyone could have asked for. In my darkest hours you were the light that pulled me through. I can never thank you enough for everything you've done for me. You looked after me. You offered me love, protection, and guidance. You were more than I deserve, but I'm eternally grateful that I got you anyway. I would give anything to have you back here holding me again and to hear one last story. My life will be a darker place without your smile and big beautiful blue eyes. Nothing can fill the void you left behind. We did not have enough time together, but I would not trade the time that we had for the world. You were the light of my life, my everything, my purpose, the reason I could go on. In you I had a, father, brother and best friend. I'll never love anyone the way I love you and nana. The morning when I woke up to your cold hand was the worst moment of my life. Your wings were ready, but my heart was not. When you left me, you took a piece of my heart with you. I'm not going to say goodbye because that is too final. Instead, I'm going to say "see you later" because I will one day. I will miss you more than you could ever know. Hold on to that piece for me until I see you again. I will carry you with me RJL, always and forever.

See You On The Flip Side,

Sabrina
