In My Head

Chaos, Destruction Is all going down I feel like I'm in a ghost town. Mind shattering Seeing different faces. My heart is torn In so many places. Distorted, Decayed, My mind is frayed and I'm grasping at straws. Standing on a ledge Not sure I can take it. If I can't, well, I can always just fake it.

call me sweetly

I am the youngest of three children and I absolutely love to write poetry. It helps me through tough times and after it's written I feel a lot better. I post my poetry online sometimes so that other know that life is real and that they are not alone.

I think this poems sums up how many people feel at at least one point in their lives- that they have to "fake it until they make it" essentially. Great story and imagery! Check out "poetry writing tips" in the "resources" section for even more great ideas for writing poems!
