In my head I'm just screaming

In my head I'm just screaming. Wishing everything would stop. Wishing my mind would stop running Wishing people wouldn't talk. Maybe I'm just dreaming. Maybe none of this is real. Maybe I'm a prisoner. Maybe my thoughts are my jail. Yesterday is over. Today feels just the same. Tomorrow holds new misery. Years, months, weeks, sometimes just days. Things just keep on spinning. Time keeps getting slower. And as the days keep coming. My mood keeps getting lower. Because I'm trapped in this confusion. I'm trapped in this stupid hole. It's choosing my emotions. It's eating at my soul. I'm breaking into pieces. Of sadness and despair. I'm breathing in this madness. Like breathing toxic air. It's choking me in silence. It's building me a wall. It's that moment of pure terror. Like I trip but never fall. Trying to keep stable. Trying not to hit the ground. These people don't know the difference. Between my smile and my frown. Because this mask that I put on. You'd think that's really me. But truth is I'm a liar. Because I never let you see. I'm bruising and I'm breaking I'm crying to be free. I'm getting tired of faking. In my head I'm just screaming.
