To my healer,

You told me stop drinking

So i smashed the bottle

You told me stop cutting

So i threw away the blades

You told me to stop starving

So i ate a whole meal

Because i would do anything for my healer

The one i call home

For you showed me where i belong

You taught me how to be loved

And you taught me how to hate

Now i will create this version you want me to be

Because you saw the real me

I have cuts on my skin from when i fought

The battle i knew i could never top

So i write this poem today

To show how much you mean

To the girl who has dyed hair

And the one who wishes she was clean
