My Heart
My heart was the Earth.
The Earth for all to live
To love and to be loved
My heart was also a child.
A child of love and naivety
Not to deceive, but to be deceived.
My heart stood shattered.
Still beautiful, still loved
But shattered and caged within its own pieces.
My heart stood as glass.
Newly repaired and beautiful
One must tread lightly for when it’s broke, its shards would cut like knives
My heart is the medicine.
The medicine to heal
So people can heal and be healed
My heart is the wisdom.
The prevention of destructive mistakes
To teach others its love and knowledge to save hearts from their own destruction.
