My heart in my hands

Not a day goes by when I do not think of you. I miss the way things used to be. I hear your laugh ringing in my ears, I see your smile behind my eyes, I feel the warmth of your embrace and I long for the love that we once had. I am left wondering where to go, the one who is suppose to be my guidence and direction, and you are nowhere to be found. The one who gives their love and affection, and you pass me right by. I am trying to stay hopeful, i hide my tears and pain and instead just give you my never-ending love. I hope that one day you will see, that I have waited patiently, with my heart in my hands for you to return to me.
