My Heart Speaks

I've always had so much to say....I just don't know who to tell.

My heart is trying to speak...it

wants everything to smoothly flow out at once, but everytime I open my mouth...

                                               a confusing jumble of

                                          words and phrases spills out.

When that happens, i go to my notebook...

                                             and write,... i write exactly

what i want to say, but can't.

Since my early years, I have found both joy and comfort...

                                                  in conveying my

deepest emotions and most important thoughts.

To know me...reading my work has always been

                                               the simplest way...

                                          I speak thru my poetry...,

no matter what I feel or think at the time,...

                                            I am able to pour

my heart onto paper and feel relieved afterwards.

Poetry, is like looking at my own reflection...I can

see how I think and feel about everything.

I am able to look at my fears and aspirations...

I can even create my own world...

                                         ...My pen is my heart....

                                          ...my Book is my life...
