My Heart's Lost Key
My heart is forever locked till the day you realize that you can free this empty chamber
You hold the key to set me free, but you steadily drift away
My heart continues to ache with the loss of the love that you use to give
Was I not good enough for you to continue loving me?
Why do you continue to hurt me?
Are you doing this just to make me frail and weak?
You will never keep me down!
I am done with the earth shattering pain that you forced onto me
I will stand taller than ever before!
Even if my heart continues to cry when I wish for it to stop and move on
I will be the best that I can be without you in my life
I will come back to you one day to show you how much your pain has helped me become stronger
I loved you, I cherished you, and I looked up to you
But you still drift away from my advances like I am nothing but dirt under your shoe
Goodbye my love, I hope you are happy with your choice
