My Hero
As I stare at this photograph
I think to myself,
Where has all the time gone?
Look at how young we are
We were so happy, inseparable as kids
I think of that everyday
Mistakes happen and people change
But I know we will always stay the same
I can't wait until we are grown up
We will have happy families of out own
Our kids are going to be so close
The closest cousins this world will ever see
I now know how hard life can be,
We have been through so much together
The divorce was the toughest
But as you should well know,
You are still my hero
I am so proud to call you a friend
Even better yet, my big brother.
