My Hero
Hero’s come in all shapes and sizes.
Some may wear a cape, and some may not.
They always come to the rescue, whether the problem be big or small.
Protection is of the utmost importance
and to keep you safe is what they live for.
Keeping people safe all the time is no easy task.
But a hero can make it seem so easy
by putting up a wall of protection.
Their cape could be anything you want it to be,
but whatever it may be, they will always be at your rescue.
Running to you whenever the signal beckons.
The signal is a warning for the danger to come,
calling out to the hero so you are safe.
Flying, running whatever it may be,
you will always be rescued.
They are your hero.
Whether their cape is on or off they
always know how to protect you
Protection mine as well be their middle name,
since they come running at the sound of a signal.
Their cape flying in the wind behind them.
Once you see that, their is no doubt you are safe,
because your hero is coming to the rescue.
Rescue is to
protection as
a hero is to
their signal.
But in order to make you feel safe
they must cape you with their confidence.
My hero doesn’t wear a cape but he has rescued me a countless amount of times.
Keeping me safe is his top priority and he has never failed to protect me.
He has his own authentic signal. He is my hero. He is my dad.
