My hero
Days of not being able to talk to you,
Some so tough,
I thought I would never make it through.
Everything I see reminds me of you.
Instead of just thinking of the bad,
I try to think of the good too.
Endless games of Go Fish were so much fun
I always beat you, but you claimed you won.
Holding our blanket and wearing my locket,
I stare at your picture every night.
I think of all the good times we had,
Tell you I love you,
And remind myself that it's going to be alright.
You meant more than anything to me,
And I was your girl,
You were my hero and my friend,
You were my Grampy,
And my Love for you will never end.
