my hero

She lies very still,
Not a breath to be heard.
No one spoke a word.
It was a quiet night, inspite.
The people with tears,
We all have fears.
New people we meet,
We all have a seat.
The prayers we have said,
Now I have laid in bed.
To dream about this day,
Even though I wanted her to stay.
