My Hero
Wrapped around his arms is where I always wanted to be.
But how could I when he was 7,740 miles away from me?
Blood, sweat and tears.
More like Strength, courage, and fears.
When in war you must always put your soldiers in front of yourself.
But I want him here alive, is it so selfish of myself?
After years of him being away,
I'm glad he was coming back and shortly on his way.
Leaving your family is difficult,
But loving your country so much you'd fight for it, leaves you with this result.
To say the least, my father truly inspires,
Not only me, but my family and friends, possibly even higher.
He is a hero to our nation, family, and I.
There isn't a thing that could ever replace him, don't even try.
