My Hero

There is something about superheroes,Of which I am very keen. They wear silly outfitsAnd there faces are never seen. But not even Superman Can compare to my marine.A true hero,A fighting machine. The villain on love Came to steel me away,But there he wasTo save the day. He may not be hereBy my sideAnd yes it does get toughAnd I may have cried. But the love we shareIs greater than any distanceAnd we can get through itWith a little persistence. When I see his face Or hear his voice. Those are the days I love’The days I rejoice. I can’t wait for the dayWhen he holds me tightIn his armsThat’s when everything will be alright. He is my heroHe is my marineHe is ten times better

Than the Wolverine.
