My History

Black History, a time for celebration a time for remberances for what it did for our nation, the oppresion, solace and degradation The comfort in knowing that people would risk thier life, the struggles, the journey, the indescribable plight, the unwanvering dedication and fight, so my people could have constitutional rights Altough the journey seems never ending, and there is still uncertainty with the days to come, Im grateful for the distance we have come. Im thankful for the boycotts, and numerous movements, I rejoice in the remarkable improvements, But I refuse to be quiet so I'll say it loud, Im black an I'm proud
