My home

I’ve never been good at writing yet I yearned for something more exciting Something I could express myself with then one day I was filled with bliss I read a book of poems and couldn’t believe the flow of words I felt a sudden surge of enlightenment and was filled with excitement I grabbed my five star and began only to understand Line after line Rhyme after rhyme I realized I was losing track of time and that was fine Because I was finally free to write about all that I see From the ups and downs to the grass and clouds This was my sanctuary my home where me and my emotions could be alone
