My home town glory
I am from these streets
Smell of rum and that LA heat
Wear a Laker hat
Walk around with a softball bat
I may act wrong but truth is I’m very strong
Seen enough of “Rest In Peace”
In a city of corrupt police
Live and die in LA
Or is it ride and die in LA
Gather up the Fajardo clan
All you’ll hear is we run LA
“Grow up”
“Stop f’ing up”
Hear it everyday
“You need to fix yourself”
Im just trying to be myself
And I don't need you to better myself
Thank you for your concerns
I’m pretty sure I’ll be fine doing it on my own
Not the brightest nor the shyest in my class
One thing you may not know
Is I have that DGAf flow
In case you aint with the lingo
Then I guess you aint from the ghetto
Guess I’m a bit psycho
Hope you don't take that too literal
Im not trying to see the councilor
Nor do I dare say I have a halo
Let me tell you about my pueblo
I come from Controversy
Love and hate
Light eyes
Heavy weight
Yeah thats our family trait
Got two older sisters
One hood one good
Independent single mother
Kept me fly when she could
We live in the hood
But mother raised us to be good
Four little nieces
All of them enjoy recess pieces
Bring so much joy
Makes me wanna scream ahoy
Get on this boat
Its not like titanic
We’ll ride these 7 seas
And I promise you’ll be set free
Because this is what GOD told me:
“Everything is permissible for me-everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible for me- but I will not be mastered by anything”
