My hurricane

You're gone, but your pain is still here, Losing you as a father was my greatest fear, Now that I hold you I still hold that pain, It eats at me, it kills me, makes me insane, I wish you were here with me, You would be my happiness, my key, But you're gone now leaving me behind. Dad I just wanted to say you were one of a kind, I wish you could see what I've become, You would be proud of all the work I've done, Dad I really wish you could speak, Even though it's you I really seek, I wish you were here to wipe off my tears, The memory so fresh, so special, so dear, I can't speak of this to anyone aloud, Because the tears just begin to roll out, Don't worry dad, in my heart you will stay, Until the day my memories begin to fade away.
