My illness My disease

Illness infection disease Look at the change you've brought me From eating to sleeping From walking to running From cleaning to working From sports to school My disease my illness it has changed me No longer do I feel the way I felt before Sometimes I think it's time I see you too the door no longer do I share the joys I once had And that truly does make me sad My disease my illness you've made me stronger Not the strength most think of but strength within Strength that helps overcome trials the strength that gets you through with smiles My disease my illness I've learned so much from youSome days I dread you other days I thank God for you For although you have brought me pain Thank you Arthritis for you are one of the many things that make me who I am today
