My Imagination

I am young, though I wish I were younger.

I would rewind time if I could,

back to a period where my temperament was much stronger.

Back to a time where I didn't have any,

responsibilities or worries.

A time where I was allowed to just daydream

and say childish things without being criticized.

As a child one’s imagination never truly ends

or so I think.

I’m afraid that the older I get

my imagination will slowly fade away

without me even realizing it.

My imagination is a key item to me

when it comes to art.

If that is gone will I even be considered an artist?
