My Imagination and Earth

Earth. Loaded every issue one can possibly thing of; There is bullying, fighting, war, diseases, hunger, homelessness, and countless more. Sometimes I just prefer to close my eyes. I close my eyes and use a gift. A wonderful gift that cannot be compared to anything. This gift is my imagination Which I kept since childhood It grants me the ability to create my own planet. I can pretend that my head is a planet similar to earth. When one thinks about it there are many similarities between a human head and a planet. They’re both round for a start. In my planet, the cranium is the atmosphere And inside it lies a world With nations And within these nations lie fecund farms and verdant forests, Cities which light up my planet. There are no boundaries between these imaginary nations. Everyone can live where they please. In my imagination everyone owns a home and has enough to eat every day. The wilderness and civilization have made friends; People and trees talk to each other and protect each other. In my imagination, people are so happy, No one desires to do harm; They compliment and advice each other. They are just so social! I love to visit this world. All I have to do is imagine it, But when I come back to the real world, I am reminded of the problems we have to face. The news tells us of humans killing each other, deforestation, starvation, addictions, suicides, theft, and deportations. It is just so depressing. History reminds us and threatens us of genocides, wars, corruptions, plaques. It is just so depressing. We all want a better planet, but how far away are we from obtaining it?
