My Inked Soul

Pen writing, writing, writing On paper so blank Words filling, filling, filling Up all the lonely space Words of love, happiness, thanks Praises, goofiness, things so great All hidden here Even on this page I'm pouring, pouring, pouring My soul out in ink

Even though this is a simple poem, its words ring true for any writer, especially the line "Praises, goofiness, things so great / All hidden here." As writers, we put our souls into our writing.
