My Inspiration

As the sounds of bows bounding across strings

And fingers hitting keys fill the air

I find my mind wandering

I take in the sounds, listen to the words

And try to find myself there

As the tempo changes from fast to slow

I see now that I am not alone

In these sounds surrounding me

I am able to uncover

And I know it was meant to show

The truth in the world around me
