My Inspiration
The things that inspire me might seem ridiculous to others,
But they are the things that push me further. The swoops of edges,
The forest of fiery, thick hair, the chocolatey eyes that, to others, seem dull,
Yet they make me want to burst into song.
The sweat from hard work, dedication, and passion,
The tears from pain and past failures, wishing for peace and happiness.
The laughter of relief and joy, knowing that the journey is nearing its end.
The velvety voice that tries to hide its heartbreak and fears,
Continuing to hide within the mist of broken smiles.
These things seem ridiculous to others as it would not inspire them,
But these "things" are not just ridiculous features, or a waste of space.
These "things" are what make me who I am, what pushes me to be Great.
Because I inspire Me.
