My Inspiration
My inspiration is not something you can look at or grasp
It is something that fills your heart and makes you gasp.
I did not find this inspiration until my sophmore year
But ever since then, He has been a ring in my ear.
I think by now you can tell who He is
This poem was not meant to be a quiz.
God, my Lord and Savior
Helped me adjust my goals and my behavior.
He is kind, fearless, forgiving and most importantly all-knowing
I know I cannot be like Him, but with Him I have trust in where my life is going.
He motivates me by allowing me to trust what events happen now or later
I know He gave me potential, so I am trying to become greater.
Greater than what I was and greater than what I think I am
I have faith in Him and He makes me happier than a cherry-stone clam.
In my good times, my sad times, and my very bad times
I wanted to show how He was always there for me, so I told it with some rhymes.
