My Inspiration Isn't Found in Cities

Inspiration is a fickle notion

It can be as overfilled as the ocean

Or as dead as the desert

When it comes, it comes in a spirt

Takes over mind and senses

Leaving fruitful consequences

I’ve finally found what lights my fire

What will catalyst and inspire

Not found in man-made territories

It isn’t any technological glory

It’s that removed from man

Ruled by nature and Pan

Out among the trees and flowers

I unlock my true powers

Unsaddled of any worry or despair

Breath fresh, unsullied air

My min can roam free

It’s where I always crave to be
