My Inspiration To Write

I was asked where I get my inspiration from.

The website said everyone gets inspiration from something, someone,

So tell us where or who does your inspiration to write come.

Does it come from your mind or your heart?

Please tell us when you write how do you start.

When I was asked where my poems, my writings come from there was only one thing for me to tell.

My poems and words I write come from heaven above

Sent from God and wrapped with tenderly love.

My salvation is my inspiration that flows from my heart and my mind

Into my veins that morph into my words that rhyme.

I don’t want the credit for the things I write.

I want the credit to go to my God who makes my life alright.

I believe my writings are a gift from God, our Lord

And in saying this I will not get tired or bored

Because I want people to know that my inspiration

Comes from my salvation.

So please tell the nation;

Tell the whole wide world where I get my inspiration.
