my intoxicated life
days like these aint easy for a boy like me to see,
hidden behind a cigrette and the smoke makes it hard to breathe,
living this life you learn that its one thing to surveive and another to make it,
yet living through the struggle i stand here intoxiated,
i tend to stay high not to forget but to remember,
a time that wasnt intoxicated,
a time that was better,
my eyes were more red than the blood from this injection,
when i look back at my life i see a simple reflection,
i see my family telling me i would end up just like i am now,
a fein for these drugs that i cant seem to live without,
i tend to ask myself is this really the life i chose,
doing these drugs knowing eventually ill overdose,
but that temptation is what got me kicked out of my familys front door,
which then left me on the streets wanting more and more,
they said when it comes to drugs that its better not to even start,
i guess i didnt listen because thats the whole reason my life fell apart,
intoxicated or not im not to blind to see,
that this so called fein wasnt always me.
