My Jace...

You were brave and you were kind

I loved you and you loved me

You were always in my mind

But how could I not see?

I thought you were happy here with me

We laughed we talked we kissed

Everytime we sat under our favorite tree

Did you know you would be missed?

Everything you had inside you

Everything you ever felt

Was kept away from prying eyes

Until it was too late and you died
