My January Response

MY JANUARY RESPONSE

Thu, 01/02/20 - 4:23 PM

by Debi Lyn

It feels like forever; I sure hope things are better.

Miss A was quite sweet when she and I did meet.

In fact, she did just fine; lucky YOU,

twas she who got to listen to me whine!

Everything is pretty much the same. Conclusion: my life is truly lame!

Feels like someone needs to hold my hand.

I promise this: I don't understand.

A child I'm not, but when put on the spot,

I stand frozen here [alone] and cry. If not for futility, I couldn't tell you why.

2020 has intriguing possibilities, but the recent past is still full of fragilities.

Making order out of chaos is a debilitating chore,

beneath which are ...at least a million more!

Many thoughts, many needs; I've only many dried up seeds.

To contend with these, what shall I do?

I know; I'll list what options to pursue.
