My Journey Through Space

Comfort in being with you

Blinds me from moving on

From seeing the space

Right in front of my face

A world of no absolute

A world of no nothing

But the chains bind me

But my mind breaks free

Questioning the perfections

Doubting the truths

Seeing only by my perception.

My view of the world

Seeing the noises

Hearing the silence

Feeling the absence

But without distraction

Feeling only by my perception.

The noises paint upon the walls

The energy feels through the air

Hearing only by my perception.

While the thoughts spin like wheels

The feelings gain traction upon the miles traveled

But the mind stays set upon the memories of those journeys.

Waking only by my perception.

The experiences visible and invisible

Teaching me the lessons

Life did not want to show

The lessons life had to show

The time life needed

To solidify the importance

Of the lessons, it did not want to show

But it took me to that place

My journey through space.
