My Joy

There is hate crimes in and out

Children are caught in the plight

Families are caught between wrong and right

Now I awaken with the bright light

My worries begin to lighten

My joy is that thing

It soothes my grief and pain

No amount of hate can confine me

I am on the ledge close to crying

My life is full of twists

I awaken with a smile \

The person that carries me on is He

He is my savior

I wake up by his command and serve another day

My life is his legacy

Without his legacy I am nothing but a forgotten piece of life

I see the sun and the darkness and hate disappears

The warmth enbodies me like a wonderful cloth

He cares and protects me

He gives and appreciates me\

He offers and loves me

He is my joy

He is almighty

He is the joy

The hate crimes are not powerful like his forgiveness

He forgives and loves

That is the joy that wakes me up every day

The thing that makes going to school easier

He is the man in the sky and the god beneath the sea

He is the joy
