My Laces

They hang on my wall

They were given to me by the greatest of them all

He was tall

I was small

He played ball

I watched it all

My dad was my favorite athlete that no one knows

He gave me these laces, for when he goes

All though my dad never went to the pro's

I wear his jersey above my toes

I love my dad and these lacers are mine

they make me think about him all the time

I couldnt live without them fine
