My Last Stage of Grief, I think

Last night I saw you in my sleep, walking with the devil horns, you looked at me and cackled with your eyes. How did I respond to such? I fell upon my knees and bowed to you- crying in my hands. Then you touched my head, patting it like a dog. Screaming, I stood up and socked you across the face, knocking you upon the ground. You looked up, bleeding- bleeding blue blood. Oh why dream of you and beat on you? Why dream of something so malignant? it only gives me unnecessary pain- yet I can't forget the past completely, for if I did I would not remember myself, and then my uniqueness would be gone. Because I loved you and it stills rests sadly in my chest.
