My Last Words

My home Beautiful seasons of crimsons and greens Vast blue seas I’m sorry Our greedy hands Ripped through your trees Poisoned your air and clear waters And brought fire into your sky Because of our hate We destroyed each other Hurting you as well on the side But I know Sorry is just a word incapable of fixing mistakes It has a mixture of meanings Mainly used for a lazy excuse But in the end Humanity will perish Leaving nothing but scars Your wonders of the ocean will boil Your land will scorch and crack Your winters will be dead And your creatures will disappear In the end Our fate will be grim Along with us innocence’s will be condemned We will be the walking dead Bones tearing translucent skin Some will be ashes beneath our swollen feet In the fire we created Droughts pulling life from the seams Friends will become enemies Scraping your bloody bones with their teeth And these tears I spilled Won’t stop this end It would have happened anyways This little Earth can’t hold us all We would overflow Drown in our ignorance And just like falling leaves We will fall Falling Many colors of many dreams But maybe someone wise could stop it all Not just someone But us all Humanity’s great failure Hatred fills it all And all the wondrous countries Could fall But the inspiring idea Of a beautiful bridge A bridge connecting us all Might just save us from the fall My home Beautiful seasons of crimsons and greens Vast blue seas I’m sorry Our greedy hands Ripped through your trees Poisoned your air and clear waters And brought fire into your sky Because of our hate We destroyed each other Hurting you as well on the side
