My Letter To You

You've seen felt and heard all there was in the world As a young little girl you grew up too fast Never knew the consideration of having enough friends hoping friendship will last. Felt the lashes of the grown world Seen flashes of responsibility none should see. Yet you remain smiling and laughing Bottled the pain inside with nothing to gain Yet put on a happy face for all to see Even though you lay crying deep within You often wonder why you? Why must you who have done no ill Be faced with the burden of such a hand called life? Yet you stay with a smile on your face Times have come and times will go when all seems lost and dreary. When it feels like there's no hope left for you But my friend remember this: With all the toil and turmoil you may be going through it is only a way to make you stronger. When you get a chance you shall enjoy life and all it's sweet moments a little longer. You may hide the pain that haunts you day to day Yet in your heart soul and mind you know that nothing will stay the same. You've fought for these years that past and you'll fight for those years to come. But never give in. Never give up. Until all is said and done
