At My Level Of Life

I belong to San Francisco that’s where I’m from
and where I grew up.
and where my future is going to be at.

I come from a mom that works really hard
for my two brothers and I.
If I don’t have their support
I got to do what I have to do by myself.

I inherit my brother’s athletic style
like going to the mall, buying clothes that match,
the brand names, Adidas, and Nike
from shoes, to jeans, to shirts,
to hair, to looking at the mirror.

I will be remembered for the way
I am there for my friends when they need me.
People say and think I’m a good person,
I always have ears to hear my friends’ problems.
My name may be Guerra
but I am always seeking peace,
the way I am with my friends, family, and strangers is peace.
But you’ll never know
where I grew up or how I really am
until you get on my level.
