A kid who just wants to be heard

Someone who wants success

Others look at him and say oh my he's blessed

They don't know the pain, the problems

Of always wanting to be the best

His parents are proud of him

But there's always a shroud on him 

All he wants is success

he wants to be heard

he wants to show everyone his worth

His passion is sports, but

now there's remorse

his high school career 

is no more

but now its time for a new chapter

Time to hit the books

maybe later on he'll become a father

but just know that he'll look forward

never looking back

shoot him down

and he'll just come right back
