My Life
When I was a baby
I didn't have nobody
I was livin in the Foster Care
Waitin for a family
Months went by
Then one day a lady came
And I got adopted
When I was 10 months of age
They loved me
They cared for me
They took me in
They've been there every step of the way
And still will till the end
I love them
And they love me too
Even though they are darker
By shades of a few
But it's like my momma says
Love ain't got no color
I'm just happy to have a home to call my own
And a family
And a mother
This is my life
Ain't no way I would change it
This is my life
And I'm lovin every minute
This is my life
And I cherish every moment
This is my life
And I'm happy to have a family to show it.
