My Life

I.

When i was 7 my cousin Killed someone

I didn't know why he did it

I cry sometimes when i think about it

He killed someone with older men

He was 15 so he didn't go to jail

My family was sad everyday

The Day he went to court

I Prayed for the best

I put it in god’s hand

And let him finish it off.

He walked out the courtroom with a bulletproof vest

His hands was behind his back

The judge said he gets 50 years

I Felt sick to my stomach and cried

I heard lots of crying that's what i mostly heard

My family walked out and said nun

II.

My Role model is in jail

Took in more that i can handle

I wish we could get him out

But we can send him a letter

I want follow his footsteps

Imma Live with better steps

Imma Do great untill i die

Imma be great

I Have me a job

I have me a car

I'm in school doing good

I'm not going to follow his footsteps

My cousin in a hole

He can't have a regular life

He can't sleep in a regular bed

He wasn't ate regular food in so long.

My LIfe isn’t Perfect

It’s Lots of down falls

But at the end of they the day through it all

My journey is now

I want let you down

Imma keep my self up

10 toes on the grown

Self inflicted is what i am

I se whats going on

I know that it's not good

And i know that it's wrong

Life is a movie

You live it in your life

It depends on how you carry through

Or if you going to fight

I think about my cousin a lot

When i do the tears drop

Sometimes i have to make them stop

I cry so much i need a mop

Sometimes i wonder is he going to hell

Or ill wonder is he going to heaven

i ' l l just leave that in to god's hand

Cause god determine everything

Thinking bout my past

I wasn't perfect

But i want regert

Because it was worth it

EVeryday god wakes me up

I say my prayers

I have to thank him for another day

Cause every day isnt promised

I'm not barack obama

But i'm black and successful

I will make my family proud

I will amount to something

Life is like a spoon

It will be useful it just depends

On how you use it

Just don't disrespect it
