My Life

As a child, I was young and proud to be myself

I make mistakes from time to time but managed to learn

Growing up was difficult for me but I pushed on

I though I would be happy all the time but once everything changed, I changed

I had to continue to push forward to fight the darkness in me but I made it worst

Then came the dark times

I felt hopeless and lost like i didn't know what to do with my life

I see my friends come and go

My parents were split and my sister was distant

I thought my life was over and to start a new one

But there came a light

I didn't know if I should take the risk yet I did

Since then I'm trying to healing from what has happened to me from before

It worked yet I have my ups and downs

I'm still trying to get use to changes but for now I am getting better

Yet I still fear what life still holds for me
