This is my life

Terrified, petrified, horrified

Had me in many ways possible

It pains me as a kid, but now I see it as an obstacle

Still, I remember the mistakes I did as a kid

I now realized the things I could have said or did

Surprises are everywhere, and they are pretty common

My mind was not ready, for many times I have fallen

Youth to now, it is pretty difficult to compare

Learning to grow, however, has saved me from despair

I know now that growing up is a way to heal

From that day forward I now feel

Educated, motivated, dedicated
