My Life

It's time to take on my responsibilities as a grown man,
No longer being dependable so I got to get my own plans.
Even though its time for me to stand on my own two feet,
I will never accept the physically or mentally feeling of defeat.
As long as I pray and continue to keep my faith,
I will eventually  wake up to see a better day.
I always focus on striving for success,
But sometimes I daydream just to relieve my stress.
Constantly thinking about my future and reminiscing on my past,
Wondering how long will this feeling of pain last.  Trying to fight this feeling of oppression,
Seem like the only way to get through it is by transgression.
