My Life Is Changing

My life is changing fast, it seems
And gone are old, familiar scenes
My heart, once steady, will careen,
I'm losing those on whom I lean
-
Why is it life can be so mean?
What can I do? I want to scream!
This big event was unforeseen
My greatest hopes were merely dreams
-
I must be held by One, unseen
I yield to Him today's routine
As troubles press, to intervene
And now in Him, I rest, serene.
