My Life in D Major

D - don't tell me you didn't do anything

You didn't do anything and that hurt more than anything

E - even thought we don't talk anymore I still wonder if you wonder how I'm doing

F# - I hope it cuts you open when I say fuck you

I hope you feel the way I felt when I cut the word fat into my stomach and you didn't want to deal with it

G - I'm glad you didn't wish me happy birthday this year I'm glad you won't sign my yearbook this year

I'm glad we can sit next to each other and not say a word

A - if I see anymore pictures of you and your new friends

who only became your friends after you got rid of your acne

I'm going asfixiate myself with Instagram filter

B -I've become intrigued by your b average because I'm just looking for a reason to feel better than you

because I feel like shit standing beside you

C# - the sound of your name can crack my strong fisad

cause me to crumble under a set of memories stabbing at every angle of my cranium

D -how many times did you decline my phone call

when I was just trying to apologize for thinking I could go to you for help

apologize for dying inside and looking to my closest friend to pick me up again

To apologize for deciding I wasn't shit

but continuing to think I was shit

D like don't thing we will ever be okay

Don't think we are all fine and dandy

Don't think because I said okay

I am

D Major Not B minor
because I'm not going to continue to be a minor person shrinking at the sight of pressure

I am bigger and stronger than what I have let myself be

And slowly but surly I'm am rebuilding myself piece my piece

But this is the Me 2.0

And new futuristic figure to occur

D Major like there is nothing more major than loving yourself

I plan to get there even if I have to climb over all 88 keys on the piano

Zipline down each sting of the guitar

And army crawl up through the piping of a trombone hot air being blown in my face

I'm going to make it

I'm not going to hide and B Minor anymore
