my life from my brain

A kid to an adult is one very short sleep apart.

One moment your in your dad's house.

The next moment your in your own house with roommates.

It's the first of the month rent, utilities, and the phone bill are due.

Still in adaze; no budget no worries, YET.

The months fly by when it hits you; You’ve been eating rice and pizza bites this whole time.

You’re was on the broke college diet.

You  ask myself “how can I be broke?”

Time to make a budget.

You realize it was where you were not were you were working.

You saved up and got a one way ticket to the city of brotherly love.

Here you are in your new home ready to start a new chapter of life.

A life as a nurse.

No parents to help just you.

Just yourself doing this; paving the way for YOUR FUTURE.

Now all you need is a short sleep between being a college student with debt and Nurse.
