ahehem

My life through keys

I feel the keys breathing under my fingers,

Alive alive

So alive I can hear them speaking to me

They take me away from everything,

They make me so distant

I wouldn’t even notice if I was floating across the sea

The music running around me in this room let me be who I am to be

It gives my quiet life a loud melody

The music fills up all around me

I breath it

I feel it

I hear it

I need it

This piano is the only thing that makes me feel so free

My life through keys

These keys are a part of me

I feel them breathing under my fingers

Alive alive

I keep it all inside me

There’s nothing left to linger

These keys are the only thing that makes sense to me

When I touch them,

I can finally breath

My life through keys

These keys are the only thing that I’ll always hold on to

Because without them,

I don’t know what I would ever do
